Walkers Ireland LLP is pleased to announce its 2021 Partner, Of Counsel and Senior Associate promotions and congratulates each lawyer on their achievement. The latest round of senior lawyer promotions includes six lawyers from four practice areas including Asset Finance, Asset Management & Investment Funds, Corporate and Insolvency and Dispute Resolution, effective 1 July. These promotions reflect the high quality of service and outstanding work that each practitioner delivers to our clients on a regular basis and we are delighted to celebrate their achievements.

Killian McSharry has been promoted to Partner in the Asset Finance group. Killian advises banks, financial institutions, and international aircraft operating lessors, aircraft owners, financial arrangers and private equity groups on asset finance transactions. Killian is recognised as a Rising Star by Legal 500's 2021 guide, having been received this distinction for the last two years.

William Greensmyth has been promoted to Partner in the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution group. Will's principal practice areas are formal insolvency procedures and contentious litigation. In particular, Will advises financial institutions and private equity firms in relation to distressed loan situations, enforcement options and remedies available and acting for insolvency practitioners once appointed as receivers, liquidators or examiners. Will has been recognized as a Rising Star by IFLR1000 for the last five consecutive years.

The firm also announced the promotion of two Senior Associates, Michael Caulfield (Asset Finance) and Eoin Ryan (Corporate/M&A) to Of Counsel, highlighting the further growth in these areas. Michael's experience includes advising banks, financial institutions, and international aircraft operating lessors, aircraft owners, financial arrangers and private equity groups on asset finance transactions. Eoin has extensive expertise in share/asset acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, partnerships, shareholders' agreements and has worked on domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions from initial stage through to completion.

In addition to Walkers' new Partner and Of Counsel appointments, 2021 has also seen the promotion of Eimear O'Flynn and Michael Dyulgerov, who have been promoted to Senior Associate in the Asset Management and Investment Funds team.
