Ireland's Budget 2022 was presented on 12 October 2021 as setting a course for a journey to a better Ireland for 2022 and beyond. For the second year running, the budget unsurprisingly focused on public expenditure in the areas of housing, health, childcare, climate action and supports for sectors impacted by Covid-19. However, the Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe, struck an optimistic tone as he looked to the post-pandemic future and reiterated Ireland's attractiveness as a location for investment. We will remain an attractive location for investment and we will continue to play to our strengths.
