About Me
Dorothy is based in the Cayman Islands headquarters of Walkers, a leading offshore law firm, where she is a partner in the firm’s Global Investment Funds Group. Dorothy counsels investment managers, institutional trustees and super high net worth individuals on the formation, on-going operations and wind down of their Cayman Islands' investment fund structures.
Highly regarded for her holistic, solution-driven approach to client service delivery, Dorothy has particular expertise in distressed funds, unit trusts, fund restructuring and Cayman Islands' regulatory compliance, all rooted in a background in general corporate work.
Dorothy is a notary public in and for the Cayman Islands. Other current civic appointments include chairing the Cayman Islands National Drug Council, acting as a member of the Cayman Islands Human Rights Commission and as a member of the Council of the Caymanian Bar Association. Dorothy has previously acted as a board member of the Cayman Islands National Gallery and as a member of the Cayman Islands Civil Service Appeals Commission.
